Many times when we work with flash or flex. Flash player shows a strange message something like this “Security error in blah blah blah”
The possible reason is, a Macromedia Flash movie is not permitted to load data from a different Internet domain. Attempts to access cross-domain data or data returned to Macromedia Flash Player from another domain will be ignored by the Macromedia Flash Player
When an attempt is made to load content into a SWF file at runtime, the request is subject to the Flash Player security model, which is in place to protect users and website owners. As part of this model, Flash Player by default prevents cross-domain loading of data.
What you can do in this case is just put crossdomain.xml in the folder where you put the swf file. The file should be more or less like this:
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM “http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd”>
<allow-access-from domain=”www.wicketbuzzz.com” secure=”false” />
